11:30: FMH intro by Head of FMH Sarah Geeroms

11:35: Sandbox Hub presentations

  • Globo's Bernardo Costa is responsible for Strategic Partnerships and Business Development at Globo. Bernardo will talk about how Globo introduced a layer of technology to their television content that annotates products within Big Brother Brazil and other video on demand content. This way, Globo was able to make shoppable VOD. 
  • Nathan Tetroashvili, co-founder and CTO of startup Wobby.ai, will tell us about Wobby, the AI driven knowledge platform for news rooms. The platform helps journalists easily find and analyze data to uncover hidden stories, making complex data simple to understand and report. 

11:55: News Hub presentation

  • DPG Media's Technology Coordinator Rick Thomson tells us how DPG Media was able to fully embed AI in the core of their (news) workflow with their in-house AI tool, ChatDPG. 

12:05: New Technology Hub presentations

  • Fremantle's AI and technology lead, Max Blaauw gives insight into their work with Tinkerlist. 
  • Joris Cornielje of EO explains their process of making a AI generated video series. Bringing extraordinary stories from teenagers to life with AI footage brought EO great new opportunities, but also loads of big questions and comments to answer.

12:25: TEMS presentation 

  • VRT Innovation's project manager, Wim Vanobberghen, and Future Media Hubs project coordinator, Lieke Decosemaker, talk about the Trusted European Media Data Space (TEMS) and their European market and co-creation platform trial at VRT facilitating the discovery, collaboration, and storage of diverse 3D data types for virtual production. 

12:37 Next Generation Hub presentation 

  • C.Tru's editor-in-chief Sophie van Oostvoorn tells us all about C.tru, a new project powered by Mediahuis. The objective of the project is to figure out how we can reach and engage social natives with journalism and to find a sustainable revenue model.
