Sten Saluveer

Sten Saluveer is Head of Growth & Innovation at Telia Estonia, where he leads the development of new growth opportunities, innovation models and technology-driven business initiatives across the company. His work connects telecommunications, media, AI, digital policy and security with new models for growth and innovation. Sten focuses on translating emerging technologies into practical strategies, trusted partnerships and measurable value creation.

Before joining Telia, Sten served as Director of Tallinn Digital Summit, Estonia’s Prime Minister-hosted digital policy forum, where he worked with international technology companies, policymakers and public-sector partners on digital resilience, AI, security and Europe’s competitiveness in the digital economy.

Sten has also led and advised international innovation initiatives across the European media and technology sectors. He was responsible for technology projects and the Cannes Next innovation platform at the Marché du Film, Festival de Cannes, and has contributed to European media and technology programmes including frequent collaborations with the European Commission and high impact projects such as  STADIEM and CresCine. He also leads MAIEFP, Mastering AI for European Film Professionals, an executive AI leadership programme for European audiovisual professionals.
