Jon Lamarka

Jon Lamarka is the director of EITB Lab, the innovation, new narratives and new formats laboratory at the Basque public service media, EITB.

The goal of this department is to explore new ways of content transmission in order to attract the young audience, by using new creative sights.

Therefore, this department focuses on new consumption habits and technological advances.

The laboratory works in collaboration with audio, video and R&D sections of the whole EITB Media group.

Jon has an extensive career in entertainment programs and formats aimed at a young audience. Before being in charge of EITB Lab department he was the head of the group's youth radio station, Gaztea, for 13 years.
