Wim Vanobberghen

Wim has a background in history and media studies and has been passionate his whole professional career as researcher, project manager, and Living Lab leader in shaping new communication and media innovations to fit end user needs in various contexts (companies, city administrations, organisations, NGO's, ...). Wim is currently project manager at VRT Innovatie and focuses on news and desinformation (tools & format development/BENEDMO, EHBT), start-up and scale-up driven innovation for the media sector (STADIEM), and data-driven innovation (TEMS). As project manager he is involved in EU or regional funded innovation projects from the phase of idea generation, over proposal preparation to project implementation and monitoring.
