How to multicam x AZilPix
AZilPix is a Flemish startup that ensures professional multi-camera video capture can also be done on a small scale. A little over a year ago, they tested their technology at VRT Sandbox for the Canvas programme ‘Thomas Speelt het Hard’. The technology of AZilPix allows you to record in extremely high resolution, which enables a director to still adjust the framing in post-production or even select a new image. As a result, you don’t need as many cameras and your cameramen are able to use a very wide range of shots.
Startup AZilPix entered VRT with the idea of capturing events with smaller means. How does that work, you say? Take a look. They made it happen!
Thanks to the Sandbox Hub, AZilPix was further introduced to Red Bull Media House following this first successful VRT collaboration. Today, Red Bull Media House and AZilPix are running a number of productions together. This cross-connection has given AZilPix the opportunity to highlight their product to one of the most prominent commercial media players in Europe.
