Pronostic Games x Radio France
Following an initial collaboration in connection with the Euro 2021 soccer tournament, Pronostic Games and the local radio station France Bleu Normandie (Seine-Maritime - Eure) worked on a joint experiment. Every day, quizzes were taken on air for the Normandie Quiz, the 11 a.m. slot on the France Bleu network and inputted in a mobile version of the Normandie Quiz to complement the on-air game, which would be accessible to all listeners via the Pronostic Games application. The Radio France Sandbox experiment enabled the startup and local station France Bleu Normandie to design a game with the same mechanics as the on-air Normandie Quiz, using archived questions created by the host
As part of the Sandbox experiment, Pronostic Games tested the new quiz functionality on a large scale with France Bleu Normandie for three months. Over 650 players registered on the platform. On average, one user logged 3 times a week. 95% of users played on mobile and 59% of them agreed to receive the France Bleu newsletter. These key indicators enabled Pronostic Games to evaluate the new functionality developed as part of the Radio France Sandbox experiment, which will be useful for its future development. In terms of the visibility provided by the Sandbox experimentation, mentions on Radio France's social networks, as well as the radio and tv-interview with Pronostic Games' project manager on France Bleu Normandie gave the startup a certain notoriety.
For France Bleu Normandie (Seine-Maritime - Eure), the Sandbox experiment also enabled the Normandie Quiz to be opened up to all the listeners, at any time of day. The game was also able to reach a new audience, which made it possible to test the level of endowment to be considered for such digital quizzes. In this way, the station was able to federate and involve its audience more closely around daily games. Finally, this local news quiz test has enabled Radio France to take an interest in a subject that is currently untapped. This first test will enable them to consider playfulness as an essential innovation axis, particularly on the subject of proximity.
